Social Impact & Sustainability Summary 2022

Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been doing in 2022!

As a not-for-profit Social Enterprise, Shared Apprenticeships has been providing innovation measures and qualitative outcomes, ensuring that ESG is embedded into all our work.

We have helped bring young people into the industry with the backing of supportive mentors, named points of contact and a professional service which has provided welcomed reassurance to parents and carers alike. We have also reached out via four active social media channels and supported school careers activities including careers fairs, mock interviews, and bespoke talks.

By employing entry-level apprentices from local communities, we have widened participation and helped the Next Generation to progress on to become site-experienced and qualified recruits for the industry.  And we have waived any recruitment fees on completion as a grateful thank you to the quality host contractors that we work with.

As a specialist apprentice agency, we have also reinforced our easy-to-use, wrap-around service with enhanced IT, HR, and Finance support, and we have ensured that our flexible offer continues to meet local requirements with mid-year starts and contracts to match the duration of the work – more on this with a major announcement in the New Year!
